Prayer resources, Prayer Chain and Prayer Groups

St Mary's Downe is open for individual prayer every day and Cudham Church on Sundays (weather permitting)  Please use the government QR code as you enter (if you have a smartphone), keep social distance inside, use the hand sanitiser, and sign in on the sheet on the table at the back of church. You are welcome to come and pray and enjoy the silence and beauty of the church.

In response to reaching the terrible milestone of 100,000 deaths from Covid-19, in an open letter to the nation the Archbishops of Canterbury and York invite all to call on God in Prayer.  Starting on 1st February 2021 you are invited to set aside time every evening to pray, particularly at 6pm, or if not, simply pausing sometime each day.  For a copy of the Archbishops letter visit -

The Prayer Chain  - is an important ministry of our two parishes.  If you would like prayer for someone you know or for something that concerns you, please let us know by contacting the parish office on 01959 571515, email or use the enquiry form on the 'Contact Us' page and we will confidentially pass your request onto our prayer chain and they will pray for you.


Prayer Times  - As soon as we are able to our prayer groups will resume meeting during the week at both churches to pray for our parishes and neighbours.  During the Covid-19 pandemic we are meeting by Zoom.  Please view the calendar for dates and times.
