Messy Church

Paper plate Easter bunnies were the most popular craft at the Easter Messy Church.  Other crafts included Easter cards (with moving egg!), Easter baskets, scratch art cross decorations, paper plate cross silhouettes and a folding cross that told the Easter story in symbols.

Following the art and craft, there was a short talk about why Easter is so important to Christians then an active song and a prayer read by one of the children.  We finished off with a delicious buffet lunch.  Thank you to all those that helped and brought food.

Great fun was had by all and each child received some mini chocolate eggs and a fluffy chick to place in their baskets!

Do join us at the next Messy Church on Friday 31st May, 10am to 12.30pm including a buffet lunch, in Cudham Church, Church Approach, TN14 7QF.  Children, come along and have great fun getting messy!  Enjoy free art and craft activities on the theme of the Ascension of Jesus!  Don’t forget to bring an adult or carer; they have to have fun too!
