Knit and Natter Group

THE KNIT and NATTER GROUP -  meet fortnightly in Cudham on a Monday evening from 8pm until 10pm.  If you are interested in knitting, crochet, tapestry, needle felting, or any other wool crafts we invite you to come along and join our friendly group.

As well as our our own projects we also supported the Kent & Medway charity Making Miracles during 2018/2019.  This charity provides services such as trauma and bereavement counselling after a high-risk pregnancy, miscarriage, premature birth or baby loss.  The charity sells knitted, crocheted and quilted items for babies and children up to 2yrs of age at their community and local hospital stalls.  The Knit and Natter Group also knit all sorts of small garments for premature babies.  All the money from the sale of items funds the work of counsellors who support families through trauma and bereavement.

Handknitted poppy wreathDuring the latter part of 2018 the group also made some beautiful knitted poppies which were displayed in Cudham Churchyard for Remembrance Sunday, and also on the Remembrance Tree at the Christmas Tree Festival in Cudham Church.
