Our communities

Cudham and Downe are parishes within the London Borough of Bromley and are surrounded by beautiful countryside, some of which are areas of outstanding natural beauty.

An important part of our village life in our two parishes are our local clubs and events which are held regularly throughout the year.

Our Parish Magazines cover church and village news and give details of village organisations. The subscription is £6 per year for 12 monthly copies (Cudham) and £6 per year for Downe (60p per copy for 10 issues, with Christmas and Easter editions sent free to the whole village); subscriptions are normally collected during January. They are distributed by a volunteer network to the villagers in Cudham and Downe.  We also welcome contributions or articles of interest for the magazines.  If you would like to receive a copy or would like to contribute an article, or advertise please complete the enquiry form on the 'Contact Us' webpage.

Also Cudham mailing - cudhammailing@gmail.com and Downe mailing - mailing@downe-kent.org.uk keep us up to date with local news and information providing links for our communties, along with our Residents Associations which keep us informed of what is happening in our localities.

In Cudham we have a Diamond Club which takes place on the first Thursday of each month from 12.30pm and is open to those over 60.  People meet together in Cudham Village Hall for lunch (main course and pudding costs £4).  If you would like to come along please let Val Gillingham know via the Parish Office on 01959 571515 or email office@pcd.org.uk so catering can be arranged.  Please also advise of any dietary needs.

Cudham and Downe both have their own Parish Halls for hiring.  If you would like more details please contact: Downe Village Hall email: villagehall@downe-kent.org.uk and Cudham Parish Hall http://www.kentband.com/cudhamvillageclub/ccct.html
